Since it can be challenging to come up with an appropriate response to a Notary’s Question about this process, I thought it may be helpful to share what I put together. 😊

What is this all about?

I am following an outlined protocol given to me by the American lawyer who is helping access an inheritance.
I am not requesting legal advice, but I do need my documents notarized.

Why do you need different Seal Colours? (Red and Gold)

My inner standing is that it may have to do with different colours denoting different countries. I’m thinking perhaps red being for Canada at this point. 🍁

I do not have a preference colour wise; I’m just going with the direction that we were given by those who are overseeing. The lawyer, who has the fiduciary responsibility in collecting and managing any of these documents has set the parameters for what they need to look like.
